El Capitan’s is one of the go-to late night restaurants in Bellingham. Recently relocated to 1201 Cornwall Ave, #101, this new location also stays open until 2:00 AM – and sometimes later. However, they now also open for lunch and dinner. The new location features a great selection of regional craft beers and ciders
Open for over 11 years, they serve 1/4 lb. gourmet sausages and jumbo pretzels. The restaurant features an extensive condiment bar, because dressing your sausage is half the fun. As the Captain says, ‘What fun is a nekkid dog?”.
They also feature some tasty extras, available for a minimal charge, including bacon, grilled onions, spicy cheddar cheese, shredded cheddar cheese & BBQ sauce. The menu includes some specialty dogs, including the XO, the Patriot, or any dog ‘Seattle Style’ (grilled onions and cream cheese).
